I had to meet with the administrator, school nurse, counselor and home hospice guy today. He will be coming every Wed and Fri morn for an hour to give kyler his work and help with anything he doesn't understand. They put him on home hospice until January 10th, which is the end of the quarter. If he feels ready to go back sooner he can, but for now thats the plan. His exercises are getting better and better each day. He can now sit up in the chair without having his leg elevated all the time :)

He went back to school on Thursday and is no longer using crutches! He can go back to work now, as long as he takes breaks off his feet periodically. He was able to bike a mile in 10 monutes. Now they have him working on balance. Seems so silly, but it was actually hard for him.

Dr said everything looks good. He can start doing 100% weight, just using 1 crutch and ditch the crutches by the end off the week. He still needs to wear the brace for another 3 to 4 weeks for support, but it has no restrictions. It can be unlocked all the time. He got to try the bike at therapy today, couldn't quite pedal all the way around, but he was able to a few times towards the end.
